Wednesday 12/12/12
We had our first date, and every other date thereafter, on a Wednesday. And once we got engaged, we realized getting married midweek became the most appropriate way to honor the beginnings of our relationship. The most important things to us are to be with each other, incorporate our passions, and to be surrounded by the ones we love and who have loved us right back. So on Wednesday, December 12, 2012, just over 3 years after our first date, we are getting hitched in Southern California in a glass chapel built by the son of our favorite architect right on the Pacific coast in the most intimate wedding we could ever dream up. On this day we’ve jam packed tons of significant details and invited a small group of our beloved families and dearest friends with the simple hope of nothing more than for us to happily begin our married lives together and for you to come, relax, and celebrate with us over a beer or two.

The Wayfarers Chapel by Lloyd Wright, son of pioneering American architect Frank Lloyd Wright, is one of the foremost examples of Organic Architecture. This natural sanctuary is nestled in a grove of redwoods where the trees are the forms and the space within the forms is sacred space. It is the most beautiful combination of nature and architecture with stunning views of the Pacific coast, where everything and everyone become one.
